Enter for a Chance to Win up to $10,000
About the Contest:
The Franklin Animal Shelter is thrilled to announce our first ever Lucky Paw raffle. This contest will help us raise money to support the shelter in our mission to help out the dogs and cats in our community. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are finding ourselves with a shortfall in our fundraising, plus a surge in the number of animals we are taking in. By purchasing a ticket to the Lucky Paw Raffle, you will be helping us care for these animals, while providing yourself with a chance to win up to $10,000 if your ticket is drawn.
Here’s how it works:
This contest is a “50 / 50 Raffle” where the total pot is based on the number of tickets sold. The winner will get 50% of the total pot. Only 400 tickets have been produced and will be sold at a cost of $50 each, making a maximum possible winning of $10,000 (before taxes).
50% of the pot will go to the winner of the drawing. 50% will go to the Shelter for use by the Board of Directors (as it exists on the date of the drawing) aligned with the mission and vision of the Franklin Animal Shelter (FAS).
Taxes will be withheld from the winnings before they are paid to the winner(s) of the contest according to IRS guidelines.
FAS Board members or FAS employees, or their spouses, are not eligible to win this contest.
The drawing will be held and reported to raffle participants on November 18, 2021 during the Board’s November meeting over a Facebook Live stream.
Tickets can be purchased by anyone 18 years of age or older.
Additional questions can be directed to the FAS Board of Directors at email@example.com.
Tickets can be purchased at the shelter or from any member of the Board of Directors. You may also purchase a ticket online using the link below.
Join us on November 18, 2021 at 8:00pm as we draw the lucky winner. And as ever, we thank you for being that set of hands that helps save a set of paws!
Online ticket purchasing is not live at this time. Please stay tuned!
